FAQs

What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Wear whatever makes you feel the best! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors so choose your footwear accordingly. Texas in November has enjoyable fall weather with average temperature varying between 65°F and 46°F, so we advice to bring a coat. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing traditional bridal colors like beige, cream, or white.

Are children welcome?

Although we love your little ones, our wedding weekend is an adults only event. We thought the parents could use a night off!

Is there parking or transportation to the venue?

Round-trip shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue. Shuttles will pick up from the Hotel Drover at 1:00PM. Please refer to our Wedding Details page for more information.

What is the venue address?

The venue is at Gretchen’s family private ranch: 2777 Slusher Road, Jacksboro, Texas. Please refer to our Wedding Details page for more information.

Can I bring a date?

We politely request that only the people listed on the invitation be present.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoor?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be tented and heated on a field.

Where does the Wedding Party stay?

What kind of food will be served?

Texas classics: BBQ and TexMex. There will be vegetarian options as well.

Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?
